YSBC Women's Ministry

Like never before, people need to see, hear and touch authentic love. As
women made in the image of God, we have been designed for that very
purpose. The Bible teaches that women are a gift from God through which
He often expresses His love to others. Of course, we all come to Christ
with a long list of failures and wounds that trip us up. At YSBC we all have
stories. That’s why we are so motivated to foster a community of
acceptance, support and love. Through Christ we have hope to become
women of grace and dignity, ever developing attributes of love, joy, peace,
patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness and self-control.
That’s such good news!

At YSBC you won’t find perfect women or perfect families. What you will
find, however, is a loving community of wives, mothers, sisters and
daughters. Some of us are married. Some are divorced. Some are
widowed and some are single. Regardless, we are women that place a
high value on our marriages, children and serving others.

Our approach comes in a variety of ways that are ever expanding and
changing as the Holy Spirit inspires.

 

• Real-time connection through the Women's Signal app to share prayer requests and uplifting comments

• Bible Reading Groups and prayer groups in the homes of women

• Secret Sisters – a voluntary commitment for one year to secretly pray for one            woman and to share little notes and/or surprise gifts

• Showers for babies and weddings

• Blessed Widows Fellowship – a once-a-month lunch and devotional at Hoss’s
