YSBC does shoeboxes in a BIG way. 

 

When our church started in 2014, we packed 64 shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child through Samaritans Purse. In 2025, we packed 515 boxes.

We are also a drop-site for northern Adams County, PA. We love the idea of sharing God's love with children all over the globe - that we would never meet. 

 

Our mission is to provide tangible expressions of God’s love to children in need worldwide and to share the Gospel of Christ through gift-filled shoeboxes 

 

Each box is carefully packed full with fun toys, a personal message, school supplies, hygiene items, and covered with prayers. We collect items all year long and have "packing parties" in September. Through people's generosity, we are able to help cover shipping costs. Our church family, from youth to seniors, help make hygiene bags, jump ropes, clothing, and handmade items. This is a church ministry that can use everyone, no matter how small. We would love to have you partner with us.
